SOUND LEVELS
The following sound levels are actual measurements from installed equipment. Actual installed conditions will vary from site to site and from station to station, which will cause either higher or lower sound levels than shown here. Stations were chosen at random with no attempt made to exhibit best or worst case scenarios.
All sound levels were measured in the key of C, which is claimed by some to be the best area of the audible sound range to measure general noise levels. Actual sound emission from the equipment is however not confined to the key of C.
Subjective observation by numerous persons describes the sound from the Silent Series Pump Stations as a low pitch hum. The best way to know for sure how your equipment will sound is to allow Irrigation Craft to arrange a visit to installed and operating equipment similar to the equipment you are considering.
